Jesus
The Bible says that Jesus Christ is our Shepherd (John 10:11, Hebrews 13:20), our Teacher (Matthew 23:10), and the Head of His church (Ephesians 5:23. Colossians 1:18). At SIBC, this is more than just nice theology. We desire that each person would look to Jesus, listen to Jesus, follow Jesus and walk in personal friendship with Him. To this end, Jesus is the center of the church and the true leader of SIBC.

Leadership Team
We also understand that God raises up certain people to teach, guide and equip the body of Christ. At SIBC we refer to these people as the Leadership Team. The current leadership team consists of Michael & Chris Mason (left), and Yasushi Noji (right). Above all things, their desire is to point people to a deeper walk with Jesus.


Founding Pastor
SIBC was founded in 1986 by Pastor Teiichiro Kuoroda. In 1999, Pastor Kuroda also planted Kitahama International Bible Church (link), where he currently serves as head pastor. He still assists at SIBC in an advisory role.
