Here are some of the frequently asked
questions that people have about SIBC.

Q: What time does your Sunday worship service start?
A:
Our service starts at 10:30am. We usually end around
12:00pm.
Q: Do you have any mid-week bible classes?
A: At this time we have no bible studies or home groups
during the week.
Q: I am not a Christian. Can I still attend your
church?
A: Yes, everyone is welcome at SIBC. Even if you are not
a Christian, we think that you will still enjoy our worship
time together.
Q: What is the nearest station to SIBC?
A: The nearest station is Sakai Station on the Nankai
Main Line. However, we are easily accessible from many of
the train and bus lines around Sakai. Please check out the
Directions
page for more information.
Q: If I drive, is there a place to park my car?
A: We are sorry but there is no parking currently
available at the church. There are coin parking lots located
just a few blocks from the church. Some people also park on
the streets around the neighborhood.
Q: I don't understand English (Japanese). Will there be
someone to translate for me?
A: Yes. Whatever language the message is in, it will
always be translated into the other language via headphone
receivers. The announcements and singing are always
bilingual.
Q: Are children welcome at SIBC?
A:
Yes. We currently have 2 Sunday school classes available for
children during our worship service. There is also a room
for mothers with infants.
Q: What denomination is SIBC?
A: SIBC is a Protestant, evangelical church with no
denominational affiliation. Because we are an international
church, we have people from many different church
backgrounds. Therefore, we strive to emphasize the things we
have in common rather than the things that make us
different.
Q: Do you collect an offering during your worship
service?
A: No. For those who would like to give their tithe or
offering to the Lord, an offering box is available in the
back of the room.
Q: How often do you celebrate communion?
A: We usually celebrate the Lord's Supper once a
month.
Q: We want to have a foreign minister perform our
wedding. Is the pastor available for this kind of
ministry?
A: Currently, pastor Michael only performs weddings for
those Christians who regularly attend SIBC.
Q: Do you have English and/or Japanese conversation
classes available?
A: At the moment, we have neither classes
available.
